Allergan drops eyelash enhancement lawsuit against Jan Marini

Revitalash Eyelash Enhancer
Allergan (maker of Botox and Juvederm) agreed to drop a patent infringement lawsuit against San Jose, California based cosmetics company Jan Marini Skin Research.

Jan Marini acknowledged the patents held by Allergan, agreed to stop using certain ingredients, and ceased production on a line of eyelash conditioning products.

What’s odd about the situation is that even though Jan Marini had pulled the original Age Intervention Eyelash product from the shelves, the FDA insisted on seizure of the product over “labeling issues.”

At Skin Speaks we carry Revitalash – which our esthetician Shae swears has improved her eyelashes in just two weeks – and you can expect us to have the Allergan lash enhancer as soon as it is on the market, expected in the summer of 2009.
