Inc.’s editor says, “if you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500.”¬† It seems they are poised to take even more control of the market this year when Reliant merges with Thermage Inc., a company that offers different skin rejuvenation technology.
Reliant Tech, maker of Fraxel laser systems ranked 157th on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest growing companies.¬† In the list of health industry companies, Reliant ranked 8th.¬† Their laser treatments are designed to tighten, resurface and rejuvenate skin.
Fraxel lasers have become the standard in the non-invasive cosmetics market.¬† Sales have increased almost 1500 percent in the past three years, allowing them to fund more research and development.¬† In the magazine’s profile of Reliant Tech, one noteworthy attribute was cited – 16 percent of sales went to R&D this year; twice the industry average.
The magazine also explained the innovative technology that has helped grow Reliant into a successful American company; “the unique fractional technology creates millions of micro lesions on the face, leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected and allowing the skin to heal much faster than if the entire face were treated at once.”
