Levulan Photodynamic Therapy

Photodynamic skin rejuvenation is effective in the improvement of sun-damaged skin and pigmentation, texture, pore size, moderate to severe cystic acne, rosacea, actinic keratosis (AK's), and the prevention of skin cancer.

Photodynamic skin rejuvenation is accomplished using a topical photosensitizing agent called Levulan (ALA, aminolevulinic acid) with the correct wavelength of light.

Skin Speaks Spa M.D. offers treatments using many light and laser energy sources: Lumenis Clearlight, Lumenis Vasculight (IPL), Candela Vbeam and Vbeam 2 Perfecta, are used with or without Levulan to deliver exceptional results.

After assessing your skin, we will determine which source will deliver your desired results.

This non-invasive treatment is offered in a series, averaging 3 treatments approximately 2-4 weeks apart.
